A proximate reckoning of personal faith and devotion.
untitled-2 is inspired by Trinh T. Minh-ha's 'Reassemblage'. Constructed from print scans and screen captures of in-VCR manipulations, it’s an attempt to understand religion not through logic, but through the emotions and personal beliefs that construct a person’s faith.
untitled-2 is also a reconciliation with tactile filmmaking in the digital age, exploring how we as filmmakers can connect with our art in this way, at a time when our cameras and editing practices allow it less and less.
