A suffocating immersion into a hidden Montana landscape.
Through frames suffocated by dust, debris, and machinery, Mountain Town explores the surreal community and habitat of an American landfill. The film’s manipulated pace and sound sit on the brink of science fiction, asking what we know and how we feel about a new piece of Nature created by humans. At its core, Mountain Town confronts the audience with pieces of our world that are left by the wayside.
